- These vans have tie down points in the back for securing goods. If you need straps, these can be purchased when you come to collect your van.
- Each van receives a full service every 10,000 miles so that you don’t need to worry about reliability.
- Breakdown cover is included with every hire.
- We can deliver your van to you if required. Ask about this service if you would like more information.
BREAKDOWN COVER
If your vehicle comes with breakdown cover and you request to use that service then you will be bound by their terms and conditions. You will also accept any charges that the RAC or other breakdown service may present to Pace Van Hire including charges for Road Traffic Incident, Driver induced fault, Driver error etc.

What is the maximum payload on a small van?
The maximum payload on one of our small vans is 610 kilograms. To find out more about the capacity and capabilities of this van type, talk to a member of our team.
How much to hire a small van?
Between Monday and Thursday, our small vans can be hired for £50 per day. From Friday to Sunday, they cost £70 per day. Our weekend deal costs £149 and gives you access to the van from midday on Friday until 10am on Monday. We also offer a 5-day deal which costs £200 and a 7-day deal costing £280. In terms of longer hiring periods, our 28-day deals cost £850 for EU5 vans and £1,008 for EU6 vans.
Can you take a small van to the tip?
Every local council takes a slightly different stance. Many councils that allow vans will only let them in should they have the correct permit. Be sure to research your local tip in advance and be prepared to apply for any required permit ahead of your visit.
How many seats are in a small van?
There will either be two or three seats depending on the model of small van that you hire for your journey.
Heading into the ULEZ?
All our vans meet the Euro 6 standards, allowing you to travel within the Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) without paying a daily charge of £12.50. You’ll automatically be compliant when you hire from us.
