What do you need in order to hire a van

A valid UK or EU driving licence
It’s obvious but it’s still easy to forget. The licence needs to have been valid for at least two years and if you have an EU licence or a UK paper licence rather than a photocard you’ll need to show additional photo ID.
Proof of current UK address
This doesn’t have to match your licence, it just needs to be something official like a recent utility bill, bank statement, or a letter from HMRC. It can be physical or digital and it’s best if it’s from the last three months. If you are an EU licence holder, you’ll need to be a UK resident.

If you have a UK licence you’ll need to generate a licence check code so that we can view your driving record. You can use the gov.uk site to do this using your National Insurance number, licence number, and the postcode on your licence.

The drive from Norwood to our Croydon branch will take around 25 minutes, depending on traffic. Follow the A214 and A212 to Sydenham Road in Croydon. Turn right onto Sydenham Road and follow the A212 and A232 towards Duppas Road. Next, turn right onto Duppas Road and right again onto Epsom Road. Finally, take a right onto Warrington Road and your destination will be on the left.
By Train
From West Norwood station take the Southern line to West Croydon, and then depart. At West Croydon station, take the Southern line towards Epsom Down and get off at Waddon. Next, head northwest on Epsom Road and take a slight left onto Duppas Hill. Continue onto Epsom Road and then turn right onto Warrington Road, where you will find our Croydon Branch.
By BUS
From West Norwood Station (stop T), take the 468 bus towards South Croydon. Stay on the bus for around 30 minutes, getting off at Park Street (stop KJ). Next, head west on Park Street and turn right onto High Street. Then take a left onto Church Street and another left onto Old Town. Continue straight onto Waddon Road and turn left onto Warrington Road where you will find us.
